This text is a transcription of the Exemplum ("Examples") from manuscript Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, Ms. Ham. 390, a collection of moralistic and didactic texts from the thirteenth century. The examples use several bestiary animals and several fables for the teaching of Christian moral concepts. The Exemplum and the manuscript are linked to the text of the Tuscan Bestiary.
